EASTER SUNDAY worship begins at 10:30AM. You are welcome to arrive as early as 30 minutes before. We invite YOU to join us for this final Easter at this location as we prepare for our move to Hartman Lane!
Here are a few details to help you know what to expect when you arrive:
THE PARKING: If this is your first time to Calvary Church you will quickly realize that we have outgrown our space! Our parking arrangement is split between double-parking in the lot and curbside parking. S Walnut St is a designated 'snow route' which means we can only park on the west side of the street. We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early. To assist with opening up closer parking spaces for you, our volunteer teams happily accept VIP (Very Inconvenient Parking) status.
THE WEATHER: If there is rain, members of our hospitality team will be equipped with umbrellas and ready to walk you from your vehicle to the building. We will do our best to keep you dry! But let's hope that it is a dry and sunshiny day!
THE FACILITY: You will be greeted by a member of our hospitality team at the door. Once inside, there will be more smiling faces to welcome you. Restrooms are easily accessible and ADA friendly. If you are meeting friends, we will do our best to get you seated by them - just let a member of our hospitality team know who to find. If you arrive late and seats are gone, no worries - the folks at Calvary Church are more than happy to give up their chairs!
THE WORSHIP: Here at Calvary Church, we are a people who love to praise and worship God. It is our aim to magnify the Lord and declare His glory. In His presence there is freedom, joy, and healing to be experienced. Our worship team prays, plans, and prepares to create an atmosphere where everyone can experience the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit.
YOUR KIDS: Our Kids Ministry Team works hard to create a clean and safe environment for your child(ren) to learn about Jesus. We provide groups for children from 12 months -11 years of age. Kids Ministry begins immediately after the singing portion of the worship services. There will be Easter goodie bags available for all kids!
THE PREACHING: Easter Sunday, like every week, you will hear a message from the Bible that will challenge your spirit, stretch your faith, and point you to Jesus. After the end of every sermon, there is a time of prayer and worship. These moments provide space for people to respond to what they've heard and receive prayer for any needs that they have.
